Sandown

Sandown sits in the centre of Sandown Bay with Shanklin to the south and Yaverland to the north.  With its miles of golden sandy shores and classic pier, Sandown Bay is one of the safest, cleanest and sunniest beaches on the Island.  The seafront and elegant promenade is just yards from Broadway, the towns’ main street, with its shops, cafes, pubs, nightclubs and restaurants there for you to explore.  The Seacroft development is located at the far end of Broadway, a short walk from the town centres and the beach.  A dramatic coastal path runs behind the development, which runs the coast of the entire island, providing excellent walking and spectacular views of the Isle of Wight landscape and shoreline.
Many bus routes operate from Sandown including regular services to destinations including Newport, Shanklin, Brading, St Helens and many others. 
Sandown train station is a short distance from the Seacroft development and runs regular trains to Ryde, Brading, Lake and Shanklin.

Ferries and hovercraft run various passenger only and passenger/vehicle ferries between East and West Cowes and Southampton.
