But how long does it take to get from Bow River Village into the central London? And what are the different modes of transport available?

Underground

Bow River Village is situated a swift six minute walk from Bromley-by-Bow Underground station, located on the District and Hammersmith & City lines. Once aboard, you can hot-foot it to Liverpool Street tube station in nine minutes or Kings Cross in 22 minutes.

For the DLR, it’s a 13 minute walk to Bow Church station. From here it’s nine minutes to Canary Wharf, or 24 minutes to London City Airport for flights to Europe and the US. The amenities of Stratford are also just a three minute DLR ride away.

Bus

There are four major bus routes close to Bromley-by-Bow Underground station. The 108 bus, which operates 24 hours a day, goes to Stratford in the east or Lewisham in the south, while the 488 bus can take you to Dalston via Hackney Wick.  

From Bow Church DLR station you can catch the D8 bus eastbound to Stratford, or south to Limehouse. The 323 bus cuts through Devas Street (a 13 minute walk from Bow River Village) on its way to either Canning Town or Mile End. 

Car

Bow River Village is a good location for getting around the capital by car. The development is in easy reach of the A1, and The North Circular (A406) is just a 13 minute drive away. The M25 can also be reached in 25 minutes, perfect for those weekend trips away from the capital.

Bicycle

If you like getting around using pedal power, then it’s just a two minute cycle from Bow River Village to the Bow Interchange. From here you can cycle on TFL’s specially designed Cycling Superhighway route into Aldgate East in approximately 17 minutes. There’s also secure bicycle storage for your ride at Bow River Village.

Walk

Bow River Village is a 30 minute wander to The Olympic park site, or Victoria Park. The perfect distance for a leisurely Sunday stroll.
