A Greener Way To Home Ownership
As insights from Home Views recently found that almost 80% of home buyers value sustainable features in their homes, it’s clear that being eco-friendly at home has become even more of a priority in today’s society.
HBF’s report – ‘Greener, Cleaner, Cheaper’ found that owners of new-build houses and flats will save an average of £435 a year, rising to as much as £555. The average new build home emits 2.38 tonnes less of carbon each year.
The energy efficiency of homes has become increasingly important in recent years, amid the ongoing crisis surrounding rising energy prices and an enhanced focus on environmental issues.
