With Easter fast approaching, we’ve rounded up some of the best fun and safe activities in the Capital.
1. National Trust Easter Egg Hunts
The National Trust’s much-anticipated Easter Egg adventure trails will be returning across gardens and parks in London this year. The Easter Egg hunt is a great way to get outdoors and is an activity certain to keep the whole family entertained.
2. London Easter 10k The Hub Regents Park Rd
Put your best foot forward in a 10k run in the heart of London. The course is three laps of Regent's Park, where you may even catch a glimpse of a Giraffe as you run past ZSL London Zoo. With the choice of competing in a 10k, a 2 mile fun run, or the children’s race, this is the perfect way to keep the whole family fit and active.
3. BucketRace
Discover new places, activities and hidden gems within London by taking part in BucketRace, a Scavenger Race around London, where teams compete against one another by completing tasks on the list provided. On 10th April there will be a special Easter hunt game, with first place winning tickets to a chocolate making experience. All you will need is a smart phone and a Twitter account to get involved.
East London based club, Tobacco Dock, is going virtual this Easter, offering revellers a night out from the comfort of their own home. A virtual replica of the venue has been created to host big nights until clubs are able to re-open. To celebrate, Tobacco Dock is putting on a free virtual weekend of music over the Easter period, running from 8pm to 2pm on 2nd and 3rd of April.
Watch a free, full-scale re-enactment of Jesus's final days, from his arrest to his resurrection, featuring 100 performers in in Trafalgar Square on Good Friday. Put on by Wintershall Players, the re-enactment commemorates the day Jesus is believed to have been arrested, tried and crucified. There will be splendidcostumes and outstanding acing, creating an authentic scene in the famous square. (Subject to change with restirctions).
