Valentines Park

When the kids need to burn off some energy, a trip to explore this stunning 130-acre park is the perfect option. Make the most of the sports facilities available with a game of basketball or football. Or to experience some serenity, opt for a relaxing stroll through the gardens or enjoy a boat trip on the lake.

Gurdwara Karamsar

Redbridge Museum

Situated on Clements Road is Redbridge Museum which provides the opportunity to learn about the rich history of the area over the last 150,000 years, through a series of exhibitions. Not to be missed.

Kenneth More Theatre

This local theatre has been serving the community since 1975 and is the perfect destination for anyone that appreciates the arts. For an alternative, multi-cultural shopping experience head to Ilford Lane, best described as “Redbridge’s Aladdin’s Cave”. Tucked away to the south of Ilford town centre, the area embodies the multi-cultural character of Redbridge. Make sure you also make time to taste the incredible Asian delicacies on offer.

Fairlop Waters Country Park

To make the most of the warmer weather, head to Fairlop Waters for an abundance of outdoor activities including golf, windsurfing and climbing. Or take in the beautiful surroundings and wildlife on a walk through the park, which is open all year round.

Ilford Hospital Chapel

Enjoy a free tour and admire this Grade-II listed building on one of the regular open days. Originally built in 1140 as a chapel and shelter for the sick, the chapel is open Thursday lunchtime, and there is also the opportunity to attend a service from the chaplain.
