London – Christmas Markets
Christmas is just around the cornerand there are plenty of Christmas markets throughout London to get you in the festive spirit. Here's our selection of the best in the capital.
Top of the list has to be the famous Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. The most spectacular Christmas destination in London, the market is a gigantic fairground attracting visitors from across the world. Winter Wonderland is free to enter with pre-bookable attractions varying in cost. Explore the Magical Ice Kingdom, ride the Giant Wheel or meet Santa at Santa Land – the choice is yours.

At this riverside Christmas market, you’ll find traders from around the world each bringing their own spin to the festivities. Southbank Winter Festival is found along The Queen’s Walk and features wooden chalets that line the walkway, each offering an array of bespoke gifts and delicious street food. You can also enjoy a fun-filled family show or screening of a classic holiday film at the nearby Southbank Centre.

For the first three Wednesdays in December, Greenwich Market will be open late to shop beautifully handcrafted gifts and stocking fillers. You’ll find candles, jewellery, accessories, bags, scarves, cushions, throws and more. With sparkling Christmas lights, mulled wine and delicious winter treats such as Germans bratwursts, the market is sure to get you in the festive spirit.

Leicester Square Christmas Market
Although Leicester Square is fantastic all year round, December sees the West End square transform into a magical winter wonderland. A pop-up market with over 30 stalls offering hand-crafted goods and delicious food can be found in the central gardens. There will also be a sparkling programme of entertainment and events performed in a beautiful 1920s Belgian Spiegeltent.

Colombia Road Christmas Wednesdays
London’s most famous flower market is once again opening up for its annual late-night Christmas events. Taking place on the first three Wednesdays in December, you’ll be able to browse over 60 independent shops brimming with unique gifts. Sip on mulled wine as you shop, and enjoy being serenaded by the cheery carol singers from St Peters in Bethnal Green.
