St. Paul’s Cathedral 

We start our list with arguably the most well-known religious venue in the capital, St. Paul’s Cathedral. This monumental venue offers a large number of choral services throughout the month, however the stand-out services are held on the 23rd and 24th of December. Admission is free, but it’s recommend to arrive early to secure a spot..

Westminster Abbey

Holy Trinity 

Celebrate the build-up to Christmas with the charity Street Child’s evening of festive carols at the Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square. Proceeds from the event help support Street Child’s work empowering children in West Africa through education.

St. Bride’s Church 

On Wednesday 6th December, the charming and largely undiscovered church of St. Bride’s on Fleet Street plays host to a charity carol service in support of Adfam, an alcohol and drug support charity. Classic carols will be interspersed with readings from a host of different speakers, include Gina McKee.

Royal Albert Hall 

If crowd participation is your thing, then start practising your scales as the Royal Albert Hall has a singalong event just for you. Jonathan Cohen will lead attendees through a concert filled with traditional and modern carols, all set within this famous musical venue.

St. Martin-in-the-Fields

St. James’s Church 

Set in the magical church of St. James’s on Piccadilly, award-winning pianist Warren Mailley-Smith, will be entertaining the audience with a mixture of classical and Christmas favourites. He will also be joined by a formidable chamber group and soprano, Susie Parks.

Mediaeval Baebes 

The Mediaeval Baebes use lyrics from Medieval texts and set them to original scores, resulting in highly original and memorable music. The Baebes are back this Christmas and will be performing in London on 18th December at Cecil Sharp House, close to Regents Park.
