#First Time Buyer #New Home A must-read guide for prospective buyers
Buying your first home is often an overwhelming and daunting task. However, with the help of our expert team and our guide below, we try to make the purchase process as easy as possible.
Firstly, whether it’s a coastal haven, country idyll or urban retreat you’re interested in, we advise signing up to our regular development newsletter by
registering on our website. Our website also contains information on all of our current developments.
Once you’ve chosen your desired property, take a look at the eligibility criteria (listed on each individual development). If your think you are eligible for Shared Ownership, you can then start applying for your first home. Our application process follows a simple three step approach:
Step One: Contact SRC Financial
As a first step you need to contact independent mortgage advisors, SRC Financial, and request a financial assessment form. SRC Financial can be contacted by phone (01268 280 096) or
email. If contacting SRC by email, be sure to state the development name in the subject line.
Step Two: Complete the Financial Assessment Form
Once you’ve received the financial assessment form, you will need to complete the form and return it to SRC Financial for evaluation. SRC’s dedicated team will respond to you directly regarding whether your application has been successful or not.
Step Three: Discussion with SHO Sales Team
As soon as SRC Financial have confirmed that you have passed the financial assessment, our Sales Team will be in contact to advise you on the next steps to help make your home buying process as streamlined and stress-free as possible.
If you have any further questions on applying for your first home, then please do not hesitate to
