In recent years the E3 postcode has seen the arrival of many great places to eat, drink and relax with friends and family. Whether it’s a pint in an old fashioned East End boozer or a Wagyu beef burger, there are plenty of options available to you.

PUBS AND BARS

The Palm Tree *Star Pick*

The Palm Tree is an East End institution. Don’t expect gourmet sharing boards or Arancini. This is a strictly no-frills East End boozer that Barbara Windsor would be proud of. The décor is chintz, the clientele colourful and the live band nights are unforgettable.  A must visit.

Address: 127 Grove Rd, London, E3 5RP

Telephone: 020 8980 2918

The Coborn

This E3 pub is sandwiched between houses on a beautiful terraced road. The Coburn recently went through a full makeover, changing it from a tired and rundown boozer to a bright and inviting gastropub. The food is good, specialising in well-executed hearty British pub fayre.
